Semiconductor legend and executive director of Tenstorrent Jim Keller publicly supported that the openness of RISC-V is the best solution to promote the popularization of AI. It not only meets the demand for high computing power, but also has the potential to build large-scale commercialization. Market expectations are that the RISC-V ecosystem will accelerate its growth in the future, which will be helpful to the expansion of AI version of RISC-V silicon intelligence IP supplier Jingxinke.

At this year's SEMICON TAIWAN Forum, Jim Keller pointed out that Tenstorrent is making every effort to build a RISC-V-based CPU, and promises to launch a complete and fully open software stack covering models, translators, high-speed computing components, operational environments and bottom-level instruction sets, and fully adopting the source model, which will make it easier for potential customers and partners to launch and introduce, thereby accelerating the commercialization process of RISC-V applications.

Keller said that the openness of RISC-V can not only meet high computing power requirements, but also have the potential to become a large-scale commercial. Therefore, regardless of hardware or software, Tenstorrent will fully promote the RISC-V architecture and create the most easily accepted CPU and AI processor solutions for the market.

Market interpretation, for Jingxinke, the joining of the weight-level operator Tenstorrent will help accelerate the expansion of RISC-V ecosystem, expand market size, add potential customer base to Jingxinke, and a more complete source software environment can also reduce development opportunities and stimulate the market demand for RISC-V IP. However, we should also note that if Tenstorrent's full-source solution can significantly reduce customer development costs and time, it may also bring pressure to Jingxin Technology's existing IP license model, and the market competition will be more intense in the future.

Currently, Jingxinke has a market share of about 30% of the RISC-V CPU license, and its technology and products have been widely adopted. Jingxinke continues to strengthen its R&D capabilities. Compared with before 2020, it launched only 2 CPUs each year, and now it can launch more than 6 models every year, and set up 4 R&D centers in North America. Its product line can cover about 60% to 70% of Arm's product range, and the company is also planning to launch a new product Cuzco at the end of the year to mark Arm Neoverse N3 to show the goal of greatly advancing the high-level market.

Jingxinke's investment in August 2025 reached 153 million yuan, a monthly increase of 56.01% and an annual increase of 93.77%; the cumulative investment in the first eight months reached 802 million yuan, a year increase of 16.84%. The legal person believes that with the help of global RISC-V trends and weight-level operators, Jingxinke is expected to continue to benefit.
