A total of 18 teams will participate in the Women's UEFA Champions League stage. 12 teams will advance to the knockout stage, of which 4 will directly enter the quarterfinals and the remaining 8 will need to participate in the knockout play-offs. The knockout draw will be held on Thursday, December 18.
This season is the first women’s UEFA Champions League to adopt a new competition format. The top 4 teams in the league stage will directly advance to the quarterfinals, while the teams ranked 5th to 12th will compete for the remaining quarterfinals through a two-round knockout play-off.
