According to The Athletic, Manchester United has signed an additional loan of 105 million pounds this summer, while the revolving credit limit has been increased to a maximum of 350 million pounds, and the credit repayment period has been extended to December 2029.

After spending 127.5 million pounds to sign Cunha and Mbermo, Manchester United originally planned to help the first team make further signings by selling players, but they then signed Sheshko 76.5 million and Lamens 19.3 million pounds. Manchester United had considered introducing Brighton midfielder Baleba, but due to the high asking price, they finally gave up completing the deal this summer. The total transfer expenditure this summer reached £239 million, including surcharges such as broker fees and Premier League transfer taxes. According to the club's third-quarter financial report released in June, 71.3 million was spent on introducing Cunya from April to June, and expenditure increased by 167.8 million pounds from July to September. Before the transfer window closed, after deducting costs, the sale of Garnacho and Anthony brought Manchester United £55.4 million in revenue. In addition, Ilanga, A Fee and Oyedler brought a second transfer share of 20.3 million pounds, and Manchester United's net transfer expenditure this summer is still as high as 163.5 million pounds. According to the club's full annual report released on Thursday night, the increased transfer budget is partially thanks to funds borrowed by Manchester United's senior executives.

Manchester United adjusted its revolving credit line to improve borrowing capacity. As of September 11, Manchester United had made three withdrawals, bringing its total loan amount to 265 million pounds. Since withdrawals and adjustments occurred after June 30, they were not included in the 2024-2025 annual financial report. As of June 30, Manchester United had a total debt of 637 million pounds, of which 160 million pounds were from revolving credit.
