According to reporter Ben Jacobs, Brighton goalkeeper Rushworth has been allowed to undergo a medical examination in Coventry and has been loaned out for one season.
Ben Jacobs wrote on social media: "Brighton goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has been approved for a medical examination in Coventry and will be loaned out for one season, with no buyout option. Earlier in the summer window, Brighton rejected a permanent transfer offer of £5.5 million for Rushworth."
24-year-old England goalkeeper Rushworth was loaned to Hull City by Brighton in the first half of the 2024-25 season. He played in 3 games in all competitions, conceded 3 goals, and had a clean sheet in one game. After returning to Brighton in the second half of the season, Rushworth failed to get a chance to play.
