The Daily Mail reported that Old Trafford will hold a charity dinner.
Six months ago, Gary Neville pressured Ratcliffe on Inelos' decision to stop providing £40,000 a year to the former Manchester United Players Association and proposed fundraising through charity dinners and auctions.
Within weeks, a grand event paying tribute to former Manchester United scorer Andy Cole successfully filled most of the funding gap for Manchester United's legendary club, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
This Thursday, the Old Trafford Stadium will hold a charity dinner in the sports world, and the star-studded event will raise funds for the Manchester United Association and the Manchester Munich Air Crash Memorial Foundation. The highlight of the auction is the collection of "History of Manchester United" co-written by Harry Harris and Carl England, prefaced by Brian Robson, and illustrations by famous painter Paul Trevion.
In the book, many Manchester United legendary stars signed their own pages, including Giggs, Paul Ince, Robson, Vivi Anderson and Martin Buchan. Treviyon's original manuscript will also be auctioned, and the proceeds will be donated to two charities.
Carl England said: "It is a great honor and honor to work with famous artist Paul Trevion and my hero Brian Robson to complete this work. As a Manchester United fan with fifty years of experience, I am proud to be involved in this wonderful project that celebrates the club's brilliant history and give back to the meritorious players who have shaped Manchester United today by donating some of the proceeds."
