Leverkusen defender Konsa was selected for the England roster in this issue. The Three Lions will play against Wales in a friendly match and then face Latvia in the World Cup. In an interview, Kanssa talked about his decision to leave Liverpool for Leverkusen this summer.
He said: "While I was at Liverpool, I learned a lot from some of the top players, which was very beneficial to my career. At the age of 22 and about to be 23, I needed a lot of game experience to achieve my goal. Therefore, I think playing abroad is the best choice."
Kansa won the U21 European Cup with the team this summer. Under the three England coaches, Southgate, Casley and Tuchel, Kansa has been selected for the English senior team five times, but has not yet made its debut.
Kunsa said: "I don't have any strange feeling, I'm very happy to be here. Being selected for England is a great honor, and I am grateful to the coach. I will continue to learn from those more experienced teammates. I hope to achieve my goal, which is to play for England."
