British media talkSPORT reported that McAllister failed to attend the Golden Globe Awards ceremony and may have gone to accompany the childbirth. The 2025 Golden Globe Awards Ceremony was held at the Theatre in Paris, France. Liverpool star McAllister revealed that he did not attend the Golden Globes for "personal reasons".
Macalist was one of the 30 candidates for the Golden Globes. However, when Dembele won the Golden Globes, only Van Dijk and Alison went to Paris, and Wilz, Salah and McAllister were all absent from the award ceremony.
McAllister revealed on Ins: "I was unable to attend the Golden Globes ceremony due to personal reasons today. I wish you all the best and enjoy it!"
McAllister and his partner Alan Cova are about to welcome their first child, and the two made the announcement in March this year. The couple has been together since 2022, when McAllister had just won the Qatar World Cup with Argentina.
Kova had previously shared a photo of himself holding his pregnant belly, just before Liverpool narrowly defeated Atletico Madrid 3-2.
