"How could someone do such a thing?"

That's the question many people have been asking since January 18, after a woman entered the MSPCA-Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen, Massachusetts, and stole a 2-and-a-half-month-old kitten named Caramel.

MSPCA spokesman Rob Halpin said, "A Caucasian woman, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, stole the (brown with orange markings) kitten.

"The woman, approximately 60 years old, was driving a light-colored Ford F150 extended cab pickup truck," he said. "However, security cameras installed on the property failed to capture the license plate number. "

Police are currently investigating the incident and searching for the suspect. They urge anyone with information about Caramel's whereabouts to contact the authorities as soon as possible, as well as the adoption agency where she was taken.

"At this point, our priority is to get Caramel back. el is back under our care," said MeaghanO'Leary of MSPCA-Nevins Farm.

Although the domestic security is very good, there may also be strange ladies in the above story who steal cats. To prevent their fur babies from being stolen, all cat owners also need to take some precautions.
