In Yilan, Taiwan, a blue cat suddenly appeared on the street three years ago. Everyone also felt strange that there were breed cats wandering around on the road. After a long time, no one cared about them. Everyone understood that they must have been abandoned.

A year ago, the cat suddenly wandered around with a big belly. At first, everyone thought it was pregnancy. After all, stray cats rely on instinct to survive unless they are neutered. Once they are in heat, they will naturally want to have babies.

Although the cat had a big belly, its body became thinner and thinner day by day. Finally, some kind-hearted people couldn't bear it anymore and contacted the Animal Welfare Association to help, hoping to save the kitten.

When the volunteers rushed to the scene based on the information, they saw that the cat’s belly did not look pregnant at all, it was simply too big! Everyone went to ask nearby stores and found out that the cat had been wandering nearby for three years. A person claiming to be the cat's owner came to trap it and bring it home, but it seemed to have been scratched by the cat. This person was never seen again. What confused the volunteers was that there was nothing wrong with the cat being pregnant all year round.

The cat has been homeless for three years. It is used to eating human sausages and salt-fried chicken. It won’t even eat canned cats. It took a lot of effort just to trap it.

The volunteer originally wanted to take the cat to the hospital for a scan, but it turned out that the blue cat had been wandering for too long and was really wild and could not calm down. In the end, the doctor used a little anesthesia and scanned the cat and took an ultrasound to see how many kittens were in its belly.

As a result, it was found that there was not even a kitten in the belly, but a belly full of pus. In cats with pyometra and uterine torsion, the abdominal cavity is severely inflamed, resulting in a belly full of ascites. Wandering outside with a belly full of pus, it was uncomfortable to even lie down. Fortunately, it could endure it for a whole year. I can only say that it is really strong.

The cat will now recuperate in a pet hospital, and then it will have to go through a period of running-in, so that it can slowly trust humans before it can be given to humans for adoption.

Some people can’t wait to take home cats when they see how cute they are. Little did they know that breed cats are essentially like cats. In addition to being cute, they also need to eat, poop, and scratch. Some even have a bad relationship with their owners and like to scratch and bite. When they find it difficult to keep, they simply throw the cat away on the street.
